Doing Christ's Work
St. Stanislaus Cathedral has many active groups within it’s Parish family.
These groups are responsible for many of the happenings that take place in our community and around the world at various times during the year.
Weather you a young person who wants to get involved, have an interest in music, or simply enjoy the fellowship and friendships built through offering service to the Lord, I think you will find we have it all!
Visit our church on Sundays at 9:30 am and meet our members and get involved.
Here are some of our current projects....
One Hot Meal
Reaching out to the community with a hot meal every first Saturday of the month since 2008, anyone is welcome to come and lend a hand. The event typically runs from 11am – 3pm with serving from 1pm -3pm.
Wreaths Across America
St. Stanislaus UYA is partnering with Wreaths Across America to support their mission to Remember, Honor and Teach about America’s veterans. The wreath laying ceremony occurs in conjunction with ones taking place in Arlington National Cemetery.
Prayer Shawl Ministry
The tradition of creating is alive and well in our parish as those who enjoy knitting and quilting gather to make ‘prayer shawls’ for those in need of love and support.
