The St. Stanislaus Cathedral United Youth Association (UYA) is the Parish’s branch of the National UYA. The group is open to any child who will be old enough to attend the coming years National Youth Convocation.
On a Parish level, the UYA participates in many activities. Here are just a few!
- Living Nativity Program at the 4:00pm Mass on Christmas Eve.
- Living Stations of the Cross which is done during Lent.
- They assist in many Parish activities, often serving as greeters, ushers, waiters and waitresses.
Also, the UYA has more “relaxing” things to do. Movies, sports, and food are a common theme at get togethers. This past summer, they even held their first Overnighter at the Parish Youth Center, which was very successful.
Anyone interested in joining the Cathedral UYA is asked to contact the parish office.
To join, a child has to be 10 years old.
