‘MARCH’ING ON – What did you give up for Lent? Are you having some difficulty finding something meatless to eat on Fridays (or Wednesdays)? Surely after 2 weeks you are tired of PBJ’s, EZ Mac and Fish Filets? Well, discover the freedom that is having a Gerrity’s or Price Chopper voucher in hand at the grocery store. Yes, you can buy that fish you never tried before! Yes, you can make a grilled cheese sandwich with that weird cheese over there! Yes, you can flavor-up tofu, add dried cranberries and sunflower seeds to a salad to make it filling enough to pass as a meal. When you have a voucher in hand, you can expand your palate in order to try new things…because you know the money the church is earning is like a Lenten donation.
