The ANS Society of St. Stanislaus Cathedral is Branch #1, the first branch organized by Bishop Franciszek Hodur. In order to elevate the importance of women in the ministry of the church, he organized a society consisted of only women. Also known as the Ladies Adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament Society, the ladies have the front pews reserved for their worship at Holy Mass or any other service in church in which the Blessed Sacrament is adored. Whenever the Holy Eucharist is exposed, they hold a candle to commemmorate the importance of the Body of Christ in our midst. While also functioning as caretakers of the sanctuary and altar, they help in many of the important facets of the parish, and they remain one of the unique organizations of the Polish National Catholic Church.
Bishop Bernard Nowicki, Pastor of St. Stanislaus Cathedral, serves as the Spiritual Advisor to the Society.
